Shawnee Mission Park

The Shawnee Mission Park is the largest and most visited park in the state of Kansas. With a rich history and nature offerings to boot, this park is home to a 120-acre lake plus a variety of outdoor spaces. Spaces like picnic areas, nature trails, playgrounds, a disc golf course, an archery range and a 53-acre off leash dog park are all offered to the local community. Plus, the lake is enjoyed by fisherman and boaters during the season. The Outdoor Happiness Movement was happy to contribute to the efforts for an inclusive playground for children of all abilities to enjoy with their families.
