Johnson Oak Park

Bridgeport, Connecticut

Community members found regained hope in a shared public space with the additional of a sports complex, landscaping and a community garden. The Johnson Oak Park gets its name from a past Oak Tree that lived on the piece of land for over 30 years. Since then, the Trust for Public Land and, more recently Outdoor Happiness, contributed to the park's revitalization and continued success over the years.
